The R-102 system is designed to protect areas associated with ventilating equipment, including hoods, ducts, plenums, and filters. R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System – Overlappin
Overlapping Appliance Protection is one of the two design options available with the R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System. The design is flexible and simple. Nozzles are installed in a straight line with a maximum nozzle spacing of 25.5 in. (647 mm) and a height of 40-45 in. (1016-1143 mm) above the cooking surface. The nozzles are not aimed individually at specific appliances but instead are aimed at the hazard zone centerlines. These overlapping discharge patterns create a continuous zone of protection in which all appliances within this area are protected.
K-GUARD Fire Extinguishers
K-GUARD extinguishers contain ANSULEX Low pH Liquid Fire Suppressant, a specially formulated, aqueous solution. In addition to knocking down the flame and forming a vapor-securing blanket, ANSULEX agent provides a cooling effect that aids in extinguishment and securement of hot cooking fuels. (ANSUL Low pH agent is used in both the K-GUARD extinguishers and R-102 restaurant fire suppression systems.)
F-CLASS (European) Liquid Agent Fire Extinguisher
The F-Class fire extinguishers meet the requirements of EN3 and PED for use on fires involving combustible vegetable or animal fats in commercial cooking equipment. The low pH fire extinguishing agent used in the extinguisher is a specially-formulated aqueous solution. It has been developed to provide rapid flame extinguishment and securement of hot fuels such as cooking shortenings.
LVS Liquid Agent Fire Suppression System
LVS agent is a wet chemical agent that is a unique blend of organic and inorganic salts, coupled with surface-active ingredients. This blend provides a strong measure of freeze protection along with the foaming properties associated with conventional Class B liquid agents. The agent flows readily into areas where flammable liquids may settle. It provides both fire suppression and superior cooling of superheated surfaces while blanketing the fuel and cutting off oxygen to help prevent reflash.
A-101/LVS Twin-Agent Fire Suppression System
The fire suppression system can be used as a protection of large, off-road type construction and mining equipment such as large excavators/shovels, draglines, haul trucks, and wheeled loaders. The system also protects underground mining equipment and specialty vehicles such as slag pot and/or slab carriers and tunnel boring machines, as well as waste management equipment and forestry vehicles.
A-101 Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System
The A-101 Fire Suppression System is an automatic or manual fire suppression system using FORAY dry chemical agent for Class A, B, and C fires. The system is designed for use on large, off-road type construction and mining equipment, underground mining equipment and specialty vehicles.
CHECKFIRE 110 Detection and Actuation System
The CHECKFIRE 110 system provides electrical and/or optional pneumatic input to actuate an ANSUL fire suppression system. When a fire is detected, the control module sends an electrical signal to release the gas from an expellant gas cartridge to pressurize and discharge the fire suppression system.

Class B Hydrocarbons (AFFF)
ANSULITE® Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) Concentrates can be applied through a wide variety of delivery systems that provide extreme versatility. The foam is an ideal fire suppression choice for airports, refineries, manufacturing plants, municipal fire departments, and other operations involving the transportation, processing, or handling of flammable liquids. It is available as 1%, 3%, and 6% concentrates or as 1% and 3% freeze-protected concentrates.
Class A, B, & LNG Fires High-Expansion Foam
JET-X High-Expansion Foam Concentrates are flexible firefighting concentrates, used in fighting Class A, Class B, and LNG fires both indoors and outdoors. Expansion ratios from 50:1 up to 1000:1 make them suitable for a variety of applications including aircraft hangars, flammable liquid storage areas, and LNG facilities.
Class A Foam Concentrates
Class A foam concentrates are specifically designed to combat fires involving ordinary combustible materials, like wood, paper, coal, rubber, and plastic by making water more effective. The concentrates reduce the surface tension of water providing superior wetting and penetrating characteristics. This allows the solution to penetrate deep into the char of deep-seated fires, promoting cooling and making the Class A fuel less combustible. The expanded foam solutions also create a dense foam blanket that provides an insulating barrier between the fuel and the air.
Fluoroprotein Foam
For the suppression of fire involving hydrocarbon bulk storage and handling, such as refineries and petrochemical facilities, fluoroprotein foam concentrates are ideal.
Vapor Suppression
TARGET-7 Vapor Mitigation and Neutralizing Agent provides for a single application to suppress dangerous vapor release from a chemical spill while also pH neutralizing the spilled material.
Training Foam 3% or 6%
Training Foam is not intended for live-fire training or actual firefighting operations. It is functional in any proportioning and generating equipment and minimizes the effects of training on the environment.

In-Line Balanced Pressure Proportioners
The In-Line Balanced Pressure Proportioner is a separate assembly that offers the advantage of proportioning a foam concentrate at a location remote from the tank and pump. It is designed to accurately control the flow of a foam liquid concentrate into a water stream over a wide range of flow rates and pressures.
Line Proportioners
Line Proportioners introduce a controlled flow of foam concentrate into a pressurized water stream. They provide an inexpensive foam proportioning means for systems requiring fixed flow rates and where available water supply pressures are adequate. Typical applications include anywhere flammable liquids are used, stored, processed.
High Expansion Generators
JET-X High-Expansion Foam Generators deliver large quantities of expanded foam by blowing air through a screen coated with a high-expansion foam solution. The high and medium expansion foam systems offer a fire extinguishing procedure that overwhelms the fire with the sheer volume of foam, smothering the flames and isolating the fire.
Storage Tank Protection Equipment
Foam Chambers and Foam Makers are air-aspirating foam discharge devices designed to protect flammable liquid storage tanks by applying foam down the inside wall of the tank.
Foam Monitors
Foam Monitors control the horizontal and vertical directions of large capacity discharge streams. Water-oscillating monitors automatically move side-to-side using water pressure as the energy source. Remote-controlled monitors use an electric joystick to control horizontal, vertical and stream patterns.
Sprinkler Heads
Sprinkler Heads are available in both aspirating and non-aspirating versions. Aspirated sprinkler heads are required for protein and fluoroprotein foams in deluge systems. Non-aspirated heads with AFFF agents are more economical and can be used in either an open deluge or closed-head sprinkler systems.

- Methane Gas Detection: The Amerex Mobile Gas Detection System Generation IV (AMGaDS IV) combustible gas monitoring system utilizes advanced technology for detection of hydrocarbon and other combustible gases.
- How it works: The AMGaDS IV Control Panel identifies wasteful and potentially explosive gas leaks by continuously monitoring signals from gas sensors. If the combustible gas level reaches the 20% LFL (Lower Flammability Limit) the panel will notify the operator by transferring to a trouble condition. If it detects a 50% LFL level, it will notify the operator by going into an alarm condition, activating an audible alarm, and transferring the output relays.
- AMGaDS IV Control Panel: The AMGaDS IV control panel indicates system status and alerts the vehicle operator of various gas levels. Water Mist

ABC Multi-Purpose Stored Pressure Dry Chemical Extinguishers
ABC or multi-purpose extinguishers utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350° F and coats surface to which it is applied. HELIX™ – PCU Fire Suppression
The HELIX™ Fire Suppression System is a unique pre-engineered system designed to utilize electric detection and actuation interfaced with the STRIKE™ Electronic Control System (ECS). The STRIKE ECS fully supervises all system circuits, ensuring functionality, which includes constant monitoring of agent cylinder pressure. Because PCU fires require quick response, the HELIX system’s detection network is designed using continuous linear heat detection. The HELIX system’s configuration also minimizes nozzles, which effectively reduces the number of agent cylinders and distribution network components, making HELIX cost-effective without compromising performance. The HELIX agent distribution network is easy to install outside the cramped interior space of a PCU, using cut-to-length hydraulic hose. This PCU system operates either automatically if actuated by a detector or manually if actuated by a pull station.
Industrial Systems
The Amerex “IS” system uses our exclusive ABC (Model 555) dry chemical. ABC dry chemical suppresses more fire, by volume, than any other agent. ABC dry chemical has quick flame “knock-down” and can help to secure Class A fires against re-ignition. CO2 Wheeled Extinguisher
50 and 100 LB. CARBON DIOXIDE Large volume CO2 protection provided in either 50 or 100 lb. (2 – 50 lb. cylinders) wheeled extinguishers. Rugged construction and easy to operate with a “quick opening” ‘T’ handle valve and horn mounted shut-off valve. A logical choice in areas where a Class B:C non-contaminating agent is required and where hand portable extinguishers do not provide adequate protection.
Dry Chemical Wheeled Extinguisher
125 lb. ABC and Purple K, and 150 lb. regular direct pressure extinguishers, utilize a 23 cubic foot nitrogen cylinder with a “quick opening brass valve” to pressurize and completely discharge the agent cylinder. The compact size and 16″ semi-pneumatic tires allow easy maneuvering and operation by one person, through narrow doorways and aisles. A four-inch stainless steel fill opening with rugged chrome-plated brass cap makes servicing easier. For large hazards choose the 300 lb. ABC or Purple K or 350 lb. Regular Direct Pressure extinguishers with a “quick opening” 55 cubic foot nitrogen cylinder. They provide quality and economical fire protection, large volume capacity for extra high hazard areas with single person transport and operation. The 36″ x 6″ wide steel wheels make movement possible in sandy or soft soil.
Foam Wheeled Extinguisher
33 GALLON DIRECT PRESSURE PRE-MIX AFFF ATC FOAM The Model 630 contains a premixed alcohol-resistant AFFF ATC foam which is highly effective on Class B fuel fires and a penetrating and wetting agent on fires involving Class A materials. Excellent when used as a vapor suppressant on fuel spills to prevent ignition. Quality hardware throughout including the unique agent cylinder fabricated entirely of stainless steel – no interior coatings are necessary. Model 630 meets NFPA 418 requirements for H-1 category helicopter pad protection.
